The exhibition entitled Augusto falls on the 2000th anniversary of the first Roman emperor s death: Augustus died an old man in Nola on 19 August 14 CE with his wife Livia by his side, accompanied by her son Tiberius into whose hands the Empire was to fall only hours later.

From 12 October 2013 to 2 February 2014 Rome’s Chiostro del Bramante will be hosting a major exhibition focusing on the figure of Cleopatra (Alexandria, 69 B.C. - 30 B.C.).

Paul Cézanne was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter whose work laid the foundations of the transition from the 19th-century conception of artistic endeavour to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century. Cézanne can be said to form the bridge between late 19th-century Impressionism and the early 20th century s new line of artistic enquiry, Cubism.
